Patrick was born (February 2, 1966) and raised in Biggar. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with an Economics Degree in 1988 and received his Embalmer and Funeral Director’s Certification of Qualification in 1992. He worked at his father’s funeral home for 25 years, including being General Manager from 1990-2006. Patrick and Elan were married July 18, 1992 and have four children. Alyssa was born July 19, 1995; Patrick Jr. was born January 8, 1998; Victoria was born September 24, 2002; and William was born June 22, 2004. Patrick is actively involved in the community, being on many local boards and clubs and coaching sports. |

Elan was born (April 15, 1966) and raised on the family farm near Landis. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with an Education Degree in 1990. She received her Funeral Director’s Certification of Qualification in 2001. Elan had been a full time schoolteacher until their move to Assiniboia. She is now working full time at the funeral home, substituting in the local schools and very active in the community. Patrick and Elan were married July 18, 1992 and have four children. Alyssa was born July 19, 1995; Patrick Jr. was born January 8, 1998; Victoria was born September 24, 2002; and William was born June 22, 2004. |

After graduating from high school Blake attended Coteau Range Community College. Blake has six children: Nick, Karrie, Josie, Drew, Kane and Shaye. He went to work in the oil fields in Alberta and Saskatchewan before moving to Assiniboia in 1988. Blake then started working in the funeral industry and obtained his funeral directors license in 1999. Blake began working at Piche-Hawkis-Grondin Funeral Chapels in 2008. |

She attended Mathieu Elementary and Lafleche Central School, both in Lafleche and graduated in 2008. Renee took the Funeral Service program through SIAST and graduated in December, 2009 with honors. Her internship took place at Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapels and Renee received her Funeral Director and Embalmer License in February, 2011. |

| Sam Hawkins, Funeral Director/Purple Sheild Representative Sam was born in Gravelbourg, SK and attended school at Standon, Bateman, Gravelbourg and Western Christian College in Weyburn. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian College with a degree in teaching (B.S.E) in 1973. He spent two years teaching at Western Christian College and a year in Victoria, BC. Sam married Paulette (nee Fournier) Pinsonneault in 1998.Sam purchased the funeral home in Gravelbourg from Claude Piche in 1982. He obtained his funeral director and embalming license in 1984. In 1992, Sam and Claude became partners and built the Assiniboia Chapel. Sam is currently our Purple Shield Representative and Pre-planning counselor. |
| Claude Piche Claude was born and grew up in Gravelbroug, SK. In 1968 he got his Embalmer and Funeral Directors license and purchased the funeral home in Gravelbourg in 1969. Claude married Marion, and together they have two children, Desiree and Stephan. In 1982 Claude sold the funeral home to Sam Hawkins in 1992 Claude became partners with Sam Hawkins and they built a funeral home in Assiniboia. |
